London Aquarium
If you think of London, you generally don't think of fish, unless they're battered, but the city does offer a world-class aquarium located on the banks of the famed River Thames. We brought the kids to The Sea Life Centre London Aquarium to put it to the test. When we were in London with tiny children, we frequented the London Aquarium, and when they were adolescents and tweens, we returned to see the changes that had occurred over the previous seven years. So I booked a trip to the London Aquarium with the kids. We touched down at Heathrow Airport. I've already reserved one of the nicest cabs on the market. company provided me with reasonable prices from Heathrow Airport to London Aquarium. They were thorough in their work. The driver was already waiting for us, holding a sign with our names on it. He greeted us with such warmth. He instructed us to follow him.
The cab was fully automatic. He stuffed our belongings into the trunk of the automobile. He drove towards the London Aquarium. It took me an hour to get there. He dropped us off at our destination. He was a wonderful individual who did his job with zeal. The Aquarium is officially known as Sea Life London Aquarium, and it is part of the Sea Life network, with one of Europe's largest aquatic collections. The Aquarium, which sits surprisingly beneath the old and elegant County Hall building, features over 500 species of fish and over 2 million gallons of water. It's just adjacent to the fantastic London Eye and virtually straight across from the Houses of Parliament. My kids seem to prefer huge things, and the aquarium has lots of them, including big tanks, big rays, big sharks, and big crabs. Not all of the 40+ sharks are massive, but several are. The youngsters enjoyed walking on glass over the tanks and resting on their backs in glass bubbles to stare up at the elasmobranchs because the way the fish are exhibited is innovative and entertaining.
Tank constructions, a whale skeleton, and submerged Easter Island Moai were also popular with the kids, and myself, to be honest. I'm a sucker for seafood. I'll be honest, I've seen better, but not everyone has seen as many worldwide aquariums as we have (Kuala Lumpur, SEA Aquarium Singapore, Perth, Chiang Mai, Sydney, and others), so any touch pool is a terrific touch pool for most kids.The aquarium now has a huge family of penguins as part of the Arctic Ice Adventure collection, which my sons had a lot of fun naming.
Amy Pond was looking downcast while Matt Smith and David Tennant were busy rock hopping and diving. The British coastal species and river fish were my particular favourites. I'd been in the tropics for much too long, so it was fantastic to visit some old fishing buddies from my boyhood. The London Aquarium is a fantastic teaching resource, especially for environmental problems. At the centre, they and we both love sharks. I'd want to see these misunderstood species get more fans and the murder to end. Drum lines and shark nets, in addition to the finning business, contribute to shark extinction.
